A nice summary and you are right about the media refusing to say anything bad about Brexit. The government and the newspapers are complicit liars, spinning the big lie.

I think you may be confusing two ministerial positions though. There is a minister for 'leveling up' but that is only for internal consumption. Another big lie trying to convince the imoverished north that they be levelled up to the rich south. The reality is that the south is going to be levelled down to the poverty of the north.

The Minister for Brexit Opportunities is a post held by the most out of touch toff ever to enter parliament - Jacob Rees Mogg. This fantasy post is meant to be finding all the fantastic new opportunities, new trade deals, new freedoms etc that Brexit is meant to provide. So far all they have managed is a paltry deal with Australia and a few other monir deals that mean very little. Meanwhile we have been forced to accept lower standards and deregulation that will impact the health of the nation.

You are quite right that it is a farce and not a very funny one at that. We can all see that but too many people refuse to admit they are wrong and keep blaming the remainers for all the Brexit failures. You couldn't make it up. Even now there are people who still think Boris is a good guy and are willing to overlook all the lies, corruption and cynical cronyism. Whenever you point these things out they just shrug their shoulders and say "well that's just Boris"; as if that excuses all the illegal activities that are damaging the country.

I have given up shaking my head in disgust and disbelief as it wears me out.
