If we burn, you burn with us. Yes we are moving ever closer to The Hunger Games as a model for civilisation. A rich elite who watch the rest of the world suffer and fight, while placing bets on who will win.

This may seem far fetched but you only have to watch the success of Squid Game to see how very close we are. So many programs on the TV are battles, competitions to see who is best. We dance and prance on the stage for the amusement of the rich, hoping for a way to join the wealthy elite.

All the while a right wing fascist oppression is being lowered over our lives, sanctioned by governments. Laws to stop protest, anti-terrorist policing, armed police in armoured vests and inti-riot shields. Right wing marches get little more than a nod and a chuckle from authority, while peaceful climate campaigners get dragged off the streets and arrested.

Civilisation has become rotten like rotten fruit, and the maggots feast and multiply on the rotten flesh. Who wouldn't want to burn that down.
