Sadly this reminds me all too much of that great film starring Peter Sellers called Dr. Strangelove. Sad because that film is over 50years old and it looks like nothing has changed. It’s at times like this I really wish there was a worldwide pandemic to decimate the human population. Maybe when there are only a few scraps of humanity left we will finally realise that we need to work together to survive on this planet. Instead we are held ransom to a bunch of testosterone fueled egos constantly beating their chests to prove they are the biggest ape.

It’s taken decades to pull back from the precipice of nuclear war and MAD but it looks like we are right back there again, only with two trigger happy lunatics in control of the big red button. Will it really take an actual nuclear war for those idiots in charge to realise that it’s a no win situation.
