So it would seem. I'm not claiming to be a good writer but even my mediocre writing is subject to the same rules of success, though mostly luck.

I have have a few hobbies that should, with time and effort, yield a successful career but I have none of the real requirements for success. No family money, no advantageous connections and certainly no luck.

I now write just for the pleasure of writing, having abandoned any ambition to become successful or famous. I don't even earn enough money from Medium to make it worth my while financially.
