The world looks to the US like it's a kind of social laboratory. We watch in horror at the killings and madness (of Trump and ultra-conservatives) and wait for the outcome of this vile experiment. What kind of society will emerge from this fetid whirlpool of destruction, we wonder. The only plus side is that hopefully the rest of the world can learn from the mistakes.

I recently tried to write a humerous story about zombies, caused by a rampent but not deadly virus; which slowly reduced the mental capacity of its victims to a shambling mentally dead state. However, as I started plotting out the humour I suddenly realised this was more accurate than funny. In true zombie movies the infected turn on the healthy with increasing violence, slowly outnumbering them by causing them to become zombies too. This strange death cult rising in the US is so very close to the zombie apocalypse. Soon you won't be able to run away from it.
