We are being reduced to wage slaves, where the wage is only sufficient to keep the masses enslaved. The carrot has been replaced with more or bigger sticks. Eventually not only will you own nothing, you won't even own yourself, by law.

The only way out is revolution but the media will make sure that doesn't happen. Don't whisper socialism too loudly or you will wake the sleeping dragon of the far right. Too late the dragon is already awake and won't stop until it has consumed everyone in its fascist maw.

The right wing have always been willing to sacrifice public freedoms for private personal power. Trump will be regarded as the 'John the Baptist' to the coming anti-christ.

Look for the next charismatic Hitler to rise from the Christian churches of the USA. No one is more righteous than the self righteous. Fanatical obedience is never more fanatical than religeous obedience. Muslim extremists have shown what humanity can do to itself in the name of religeous dogma. Once the church takes control of the government you won't even dare to think against them.
