Well “me first” is the essence of their plan. Having realised that the limited resources of our planet are coming to an end, the rich are determined that only they are allowed to enjoy them. You can’t buy that private jet and spew carbon dioxide around the world if you are too poor. You can’t buy big juicy steaks if all you can afford is vegetables and ground chuck.

Reducing the population also means more for ‘me’. They don’t give a rat’s arse if you suffer and die; it just means more for them. It’s also a bonus that reducing the population will also reduce the amount of CO2 being emitted and give them longer to live and enjoy their own rich lives.
